Tucked away in its own pretty cove, just beyond the Moroccan style craft village of Archangelos, we find Haraki Village.
This tranquil fishing village Haraki is a colourful splendour of boats bobbing at anchor by the shingle shore and the esplanade lined with café bars and tavernas, some with the octopus hanging outside freshly caught that morning just waiting to be tried. Haraki Village is little known but not a lesser resort, Haraki Village is watched over by the impressive ruins of Feraclos Castle- the last stronghold of the Knights of St John, proof today of their presence here once and its from here you can see across the waters to Lindos in the distance.
The sheltered bay of Haraki enables fine swimming and less than a kilometre away lie the sweeping sands of secluded Agathi beach, the perfect setting for a family day out with its gentle sloping sands for the small kids and the watersports for the bigger kids! The small beach cafes providing respite from the hot summer sun. Haraki is a delightful resort proving popular with day-trippers and for those looking for a laid back holiday, is the perfect base from which to explore the rest of the island of Rhodes.
